This Really is a Absolutely Beautiful - Very Fine Quality Piece of Antique Hard Paste Paris Porcelain. Circa Late 19th Century. This Bowl is Rendered in The Classic 18th Century Chinese Export Porcelain Armorial Style. It is Made Out of Pure White Hard Paste Paris Porcelain - Tap the Top Rim and it Rings Like a Bell. It is Completely Hand Made - Hand Decorated with Wonderful Attention to Detail in The Features. It is Faintly Signed on the Bottom with the Documented Red Edme Samson France Maker Mark that was Used Exclusively on The Companies Chinese Export Line of Porcelains. It was Produced at The French Porcelain Factory, Established by Edmé Samson in Paris in 1845, Which Produced High Quality Copies of Every Kind of Porcelain, Including Meissen, Chantilly, Chelsea, Derby, and Chinese. These Reproductions Were Created with Great Skill and Can be Difficult to Distinguish From The Original. As Such - Samson Porcelain was Affectionately Known as "The Great Imposter". It is Extensively - Beautifully Decorated in a Assorted Flower Garland Design Etc. It Also has Many Raised White Enamel Beading Style Decorative Features. The Front has a Armorial Family Crest with a Blue Banner Across the Lower Area that Reads "BOROUGH OF DOUGLASS". It Also Has Flow Blue Style Decorative Bands that Have 22K Gold Highlights. It is in Very Good Overall Original Condition with No Cracks - No Chips - No Repairs - Displays Beautifully.
