This is a stunning set of four carved plates of various woods such as Zebra Wood 'Jatoba' from Africa, and Purple Heart wood from South America. The plates are handmade, and each one will vary slightly in shape/size, and designed to hang on a wall for decoration, circa 1990. The works have remained in the artist's collection as new unused.

Ron Peterson started working with wood at a young age, and continued throughout his adult life. He was also a wood shop teacher at the local high school in Hawaii and later Central California, where he lived most of his life. We have the honor of presenting some of Mr. Peterson's work to the public, directly from his estate, where many items have remained in his collection for twenty plus years. less
