Lovely striped upholstery feels like a velvet with double welting. Beautiful Eastlake style carvings- solid wood with metal springs- wheels on front legs only -by design. Wood unknown but may be oak or walnut- Very clean upholstery no cigarette odor etc. refer to photos for colors less
