This is a vintage piece with normal aging issues. The body of this lamp is in good condition, there are two hairline cracks at the base that are visible in the photos. The lamp works, but I’d considered rewiring so that I could give the piece an updated harp and innards...but opted not to because I think vintage pieces that work should stay all the way vintage if possible. A new shade and finial are all the updates this lovely lady should need, but you may want to rewire it so that it can be lit from within as well as by the bulb up top and add a new harp that is less askew.
