- This marvelous Walker and Hall 13 piece demitasse spoon and sugar tong set are created in gorgeous Sheffield silver plate. … more This marvelous Walker and Hall 13 piece demitasse spoon and sugar tong set are created in gorgeous Sheffield silver plate. They were made in 1900-1901 and sold in MacKay & Chisholm Goldsmiths, 59 Princes Street, Edinburgh, Scotland and remain in business today. The pattern is a simple one with a curved dimple at the end of each of the 12 spoons. The sugar tongs are in the same pattern, yet with a barley twist handle. All spoons and sugar tongs are without monograms. This beautiful set of spoons come with the original red leather presentation box, lined in satin. See photos for hallmarks. Measurements for this fabulous creation are: Spoon length=4-1/4 inches, spoon bowl at widest=7/8 inches, Sugar nips length=3-1/2 inches, spoon bowl at widest=1/2 inch. Box measurements are: Length from top to bottom=10-1/2 inches, Width from side to side=7-3/4 inches, Height from top edge to bottom edge=1-1/2 inches. This beautiful set has been well cared for, gently used and is in exception antique condition, free from scratches, dings or other imperfections. The red leather box has a few scuff marks.
