Chinese porcelain oxblood hu, with a deep oxblood glaze accented with coruscating, sky blue, dark umber and ecru striations on the body, interior and extended foot. The base inset is glazed in light umbers and grays, surrounded by the roughly formed, unglazed edges of the base. Two elephant head handles flank the neck. The finely carved, traditional, Chinese, rectangular, hongmu stand with a marble top inset is included. A four character Yongzheng reign mark in zhuanshu script is carved to the inset base. Circa early 20th century, no later than mid century.
