A soft geometric piece that is commanding in a room yet easy on the eyes and mind. Would look amazing in any setting and the palette is an unusual one. Artist grade canvas and acrylic paint. Made of archival quality materials. Will be sealed with a matte varnish prior to shipping.
This piece was one of three created and featured at Crooked Tree Gallery (Petosky Gallery Location) for the 2023 Artist's Guild Show was draw crowds and rave reviews. This piece has a standard profile canvas so framing is easy. A simplistic, natural floating modern frame made of Doug Fir would really look nice on this piece! Let me know if you need help ordering that! Frame not included.
"Cloud Cover #2" is inspired by arial views of the Lake Michigan Region, Traverse City, Michigan. This area and it's expanse of beaches and lakeside drives such as M22 that follows the lake all the way around the Leelenau Peninsula, where my little studio is! It's also home to the most closely guarded local secret--the wine. Traverse City shares the 45th Parallel with Bordeaux and Burgundy, France, Piedmont Italy, and Willamette Valley, Oregon. Yes, the wine is that good. less
