Beautiful and large, vintage Murano hand blown Sommerso pink and blue Italian art glass bird figurine / sculpture. Documented to the Seguso Vetri d'Arte company, circa 1950s. The bird is also polished in the Seguso Vetri d'Arte book, page 141. Smaller birds are shown in photographs within the book, but this bird is a larger version. When you turn the bird, the pink and blue colors mix and you can see lavender purple shades as well. Would make a great display piece on any desk, dresser or curio cabinet. Art Deco, Mid-century era. Measurements: 6" tall x 3 1/4" long x 2 1/4" wide.
