This incredible set of tumblers is the epitome of the Hollywood Regency era - Glitz, glamour, mirrored gold, geometric shapes, checkerboard, show-stopping contrast – It doesn’t get any better! You’ll slip right into that golden age of excellence every time you see this iconic set sitting atop your bar cart or cocktail cabinet. Might as well get yourself a satin bathrobe while you’re at it to really embody the times!
This show-stopping design is everything that was Hollywood Regency; shiny, mirrored gold finish paired with matte black and white in a bold, geometric, checkerboard pattern. The scream opulence and luxury while still being clean, sleek and suitable with any styled bar set!
Although unmarked, these glasses have been dated back to the 1940s for their make by a certified antiques expert. This was a time period when many manufacturers were using glassware blanks (think anchor hocking) and decorating them themselves by screen-printing, sandblasting, heat rolling 22-karat gold, etc. Therefore, that explains why so much of the glassware from this time is unmarked.
