Description: This is one of the most beautiful Spanish doors we've come across. It really captivates the true Spanish revival era. … more This is one of the most beautiful Spanish doors we've come across. It really captivates the true Spanish revival era. This is the first time we've seen the Spanish Galleon with the three headed sea monster as a knocker. Truly magical. What a better way to greet your guests into your home than a door that speaks a story of its own? I'm not sure what wood is used here but it's gorgeous in person. One side looks like a sanded matte, the opposite side has a shellac polish to it and the wood looks stained a darker color. The hand carved detail is what sets this door apart from the rest, featuring a majestic galleon with a cross sail riding along the waves of the ocean. The knocker looks like the bronze was welded to this speakeasy at a later date because the metals are different. The three headed beast sits behind a Spanish shield and at the bottom their tails sit above the face of a bearded captain. A door with character to fit in any style home, but particularly an original Spanish revival home. less
