The tassel hanging from the Vitale Floor Lamp, which is made of luxurious thread, is affixed to the lamp by a faceted crystal ball. This adornment brings the magic of a prism to life when the lights are switched on. The silver-leaf finish on the metal frame surrounding it and the piece of white marble on the stacked base make this a luminous silver floor lamp. A refined aspect of the design is how the finial is a smaller version of the prism, affixing the rectangular off-white shantung shade in perfect concert with the larger glass crystal.
