Description: This charming vessel was created by Tom Polacca (1935-2003), son of the famous Hopi potter Fannie Nampeyo. Using precision incision … more This charming vessel was created by Tom Polacca (1935-2003), son of the famous Hopi potter Fannie Nampeyo. Using precision incision methods, he designed this small art piece depicting a 6-legged creature on one side and abstract imagery on the other.

This piece was acquired during auction (original auction sticker still attached) and has been on display by a single owner in a non-smoking home first in Southern California, then Arizona, and finally in South Florida.

The art piece measures about 3 inches tall and is in very good to excellent condition with no chips or cracks with only some slight wear on the bottom. Beautiful red-orange patina.

Appraised value in 2003 was $500. less
