Respectively known as Auguste (1855-1919) and Hippolyte Moreau (1832-1926), these French sculptors are known for their award-winning work.
This pair presents a shepherdess, dressed in a long dress, her staff on her shoulder, accompanied by a sheep.
These works also feature a shepherd wearing a sheepskin on his back and walking with the help of his cane next to his dog.
These two subjects rest on a circular bronze base with a throat.
This shepherd and shepherdess will appeal to lovers of art and finely crafted objects.
