The attribution provenance I have … more Amazing Mid Century Modern Tall Lamp attributed to Marcello Fantoni for Raymor. Lamp is unsigned. The attribution provenance I have came when I was informed by a longtime Marcello Fantoni dealer that they have had this pattern before that was signed. It is possible as these lamps were cold signed that the signature has faded or disappeared over the years or that it was simply not signed. Either way this lamp in this glaze is very possibly a one of a kind find. Amazingly hand painted architectural design over a highly sophisticated underglaze with geometrical shapes in gold. Lamp has a plaster base that doesn't seem original to the piece although it looks fantastic with it nonetheless. Shad has some light damage. Can be sold with or without the shade, please specify in your offer if you'd like the shade as well. Lamp base has a hole for the cord which leads me to believe that the base is not original. Lamp itself has a 5" Diameter and is 23.5" Tall. With the black shade it measures 35.5" H. A beautiful and rare example of Italian Modern Design.
