Condition of the Apothecary Jars - 1 has a Chip on The Front and The Back of the Lid and 1 has a Faint Hairline Crack on The Back - Reverse Side of The Canister ( Please See Last Photograph in My Listing ). The Gold Decorated Highlights are Somewhat Worn due to Age and Use Over the Years. The Lids - Top Knobs and The Bottoms Have Been Drilled to Accommodate The Making - Electrical Cords Wiring Etc. The Brass is Tarnished and They are Missing Some of the Top Shade Mounting Hardware at The Top. They will Also Need New Bulb Sockets and To Be Electrically Restored - Rewired Etc..

This Really is a Great Looking - Unusual Matched Pair of Table Lamps. They were Created - Custom Made During the Mid 20th Century. Each One is Mounted with a Matching Pair of Genuine Antique - Late 19th Century French Paris Porcelain Drug Store - Apothecary Jars. The Fronts on Each were Individually Hand Decorated with Beautiful Flowers that are Rendered in the Art Nouveu Style. They are Also Decorated with Real Gold Trims - Accents. The Fronts are Hand Decorated in Black with The Name of the Actual Intended Drug They Will Contain Written in Latin. The Custom Made Bases - Bezels are Made out of Solid Brass with Added Other Internal Weighting to Provide Stability. The High Quality Upper Risers that Hold the Shades are Also Solid Brass.
