PALM BEACH ESTATE FIND! Circa 70s 80s era Thom de Jong “Smoke ster” relief print with etching signed and numbered in pencil. Such a colorful graphic by this talented Dutch Pop Art modernist. deJong had a very short life and died in 1988 at 48 years old. This is from a very small print run and numbered 67/75. The print appears to be in excellent condition with no signs of damage, colors are vibrant, some very light yellowing to the paper barely visible.
Overall framed measurements are 19” wide x 25” tall and the artwork image measures approximately 7.5” x 10” within. The frame is a typical retro silver metal gallery style frame of the period. There is a crack in the glass lower right corner (shown) but it displays well when hung on the wall and I will leave the decision to repair it up to you.
