Antique, tripartite Art Deco style decorative bronze grille of impressive scale. This single-sided ventilation grille separates into three sections and features a lovely, decorative, repeating motif pattern characteristic of the period. Provenance: 1 Wall Street, NYC Financial District, designed by Ralph Thomas Walker of the firm Voorhees, Gmelin and Walker, constructed between 1929 and 1931.
The grille was set into the wall and has a 1" lip in the back to secure it to a frame, please see the last image for detail.
