Vintage; Late 1980s-90s, German hand forged, heavy bronze serpentine or snake shaped tieback by a "To the Trade," represented Manufacturer, … Read more Vintage; Late 1980s-90s, German hand forged, heavy bronze serpentine or snake shaped tieback by a "To the Trade," represented Manufacturer, called Blome. This manufacturer's products are all custom made, for the Trade clientele. Manufactured in Germany, and known for having collaborated for some reputable Metal Foundry's and Murano Glass Foundry's. In some close up images, it showcases the natural, hand forged, scraped details near the serpents head, and hardware attached bracket area. There is some aged patina to this product, and indicative to the inherent natural process, hand touching, elements, etc. This also can be professionally or home polished to heighten and all will look fabulous as if new. ONLY was used as display purposes, to promote this collection, beyond that has been protected and wrapped entirety of it's duration.

There is also another item from this exact collection, a much larger serpentine drapery tieback in another listing, equally as heavy, and heavier than this, as the size's depth is much deeper, to hold drapery as velvet, and bulkier textile, or multiple layers aside, than this item.
