1980s vintage postmodern designer desk / table lamp. They were designed by Robert Sonneman for Kovacs in the 1980's. They have a black metal base with brass tubes and chrome accents, and have a quarter inch thick floating glass inserts on the sides. These are collectible, and are part of the Art Deco revival Memphis design period. Lamp is fully functional. Light is dimmable with a dial knob that spins to the right to turn on. The light is a warm tone. Lights up upwards as well as downwards. Minor vintage wear on the brass poles, and the glass is in great condition.
