- Sometimes it is hard to photograph an item that is white and the back drop is also white. But this … more Sometimes it is hard to photograph an item that is white and the back drop is also white. But this worked out pretty well. The body of the lamp is a milk glass white, so the light is diffused and even. The base is nickel, and the hardware is a cool twist red cording with an off/on inline switch. i photographed this piece with the light on so you can see what it really looks like. When looking up the origins of this fixture, it appears to be Italian glass, from the 80s. We just liked the shape and size of this gem and wanted to share it with everyone. less
