For your consideration… a beautiful Copeland Spode, "New Stone" teapot in the "Heritage" pattern. Made to look like early Chinese Export porcelains of the late 18th and early 19th century, it features blue transfers on a shiny blueish glaze, a fine pomegranate and leaf form finial, crossed branch form handles which terminate in leaf forms, and a marvelous and detailed border design which incorporates butterflies, lattice work, and 'vermicelli' like designs.
6" Plate accompnies the teapot
The center front and back is a stylized blazon of the United States, the eagles with arrows and and laurel leaf in its talons. A beautiful piece, and nice for 4th of July entertaining, or any patriotic holiday!
We have a number of pieces in this beautifu pattern up this week. Hard to find in such fabulous condition!!
Measures 4.5" tall,5.5" in diameter. It holds 4 full cups.
It is in excellent, near mint condition.
