This is a Great Looking Antique American Primitive Stoneware Storage Jug. Circa Early 19th Century. It is done in the Early American "Ovoid" Shape - Style. It has 2 Dark - Cobalt Blue Hand Decorated Embellishments At Handle. It is not marked as such but based on its size I can Estimate that it has a 1 Gallon or Possibly Slightly Less Liquid Storage Capacity. These types of Jugs were typically used to Store and Preserve Liquids such as Water - Cider - Hard Ciders - Spirits - Liquors Etc.. It is in Very Nice All Original Condition - No Cracks - No Repairs and it Displays Beautifully. It has a Very Small Chip to The Front of the Spout, It the Typical Assortment of Surface Imperfections - Color Variations Etc. in the Salt Glazed Exterior But these are Normal with These Types of American Stoneware Item and Would Have Occurred in the Making - Kiln Firing Process.
