Item: Lovely and rare vintage adjustable book stand by the Tiffanty Stand Co. Item is made of iron and metal and features a very unique spring/hydraulic like mechanism that balances the weight of the book on the book holder as displayed in the images below. The stand also adjusts up and down and the base has a wonderful art deco / mid century modern form. Thw wheels work very nicely as do all of the other mechanics. Very rare item
