This is a fine mantel, with the exception of a small repair on the shelf which is barely visible due to the veining. The color is a little lighter compared to other rouge royale marbles. This is an early period mantel and is carved from a thick piece of marble. It has iron ore in the stone in some places which is natural and not a stain. This is one of several additions from Danny Alessandro & Edwin Jackson mantel company. The dimensions are 42 in. H x 72 in. W x 13 in. D, opening 57 in. W x 36.5 in. H. less
