These lovely shears are made in Germany and were popular in Victorian times, as they were used to clip a bunch of grapes from large bowls that were displayed for guests. These beautiful shears have "Sterling" stamped on the handle and "Krusius, Germany on the blade hub. The Krusius Brothers began production in 1886 in Solingen, Germany. Measurements for this fabulous creation are: Length from top to bottom=7 inches, Width at widest on the handle=3-1/2 inches, Length of blades=3 inches. These gorgeous shears have been well cared for, gently used and are in excellent antique condition.
