The pottery line, which began in the mid 17th century at a convent in France, is long celebrated because it takes traditional earthenware and adds a cloisonné exterior (enameled) that allows the pieces to be vibrantly painted. This vase, which dates back to the early 1900s, features a turquoise back with vibrant pinks, purples, reds and yellow floral design. Some discoloration on the inside from use, as well as two hairline cracks on the inside that are not jeopardizing the structure. Overall, in very good condition given its age. See less
