The image is titled 'Les Appas Multiples' and features a lovely 18th century woman doing her hair in the mirror, standing in a gorgeous boudoir surrounded with flowers, full drapes, art and a vanity beside her. She is reaching for a string of pearls to add to her coif as she rests her on knee on the loveseat. The matte is a beautiful marbleized paper with touches of blues and pinks, ivory, brown and black. The image is highlighted with a black interior matte trimmed in gold on the inner and outer edges. The deep frame allows the image to recess. It's black with a gold interior edge and is in its original condition, a little tattered but good overall, and can easily be touched up. Such a sweet and innocent moment that transcends all time and eras. Paris, Circa 1900. See less
