Rare Duverday & Bloquel French Alarm Desk Clock. It is engraved on the back 2 Two Jewels Unadjusted, Breveté (patented) S.G.D.G., Made in France. Although the company began in 1867, Duverdrey & Bloquel, St. Nicolas d'Aliermont was formalized when Joseph Bloquel joined Paul Duverdrey in 1910.
The wind up alarm clock is encased in wood with brass onlay of tropical images including a beach scene with a palm tree and a figure in a canoe.
It measures 5 7/8" by 1 1/2" and stands 4 1/8" tall.
