This screen is unique and more versatile than most with a mid height of 49". The screen folds flat to 4.5" wide when not in use.

The frame is structurally strong and sturdy with 2 brass hinges between each panel. the wood shows lite age and surface wear. The original retractable panels appear to have been glued closed and have a couple repaired splits to the wood at top. There were age wear defects to the board under the new layer of wallpaper which leaves the new wallpaper laying slightly unevenly glued around the edges but is not easily noticeable unless you are looking for it closely. The screen displays beautifully. The panels are washable with a slightly damp cloth. less
