An exceptional French 1925-1930 art deco chandelier in nickel plated solid brass or bronze holding a bowl and 4 cups in clear frosted molded-pressed glass by Marius Sabino. The bowl is 23 cm wide and is signed on the rim "Sabino Paris 4767." I show a picture of an old Sabino product catalog with the larger version of this model #4763. The matching cups are all signed on the inside near the hole for the socket "Sabino Paris 4765". As my catalog shows this model exists in 3 sizes. The cups on this chandelier are the medium sized ones with a diameter of 13 cm.
The chandelier has a height of 78 cm (30,71") and is 57 cm wide (22,5"). It is in very good condition. I have re-nickeled the mounting and it comes newly wired. One cup has a small chip. A second cup has some small damages too. Not really chips, all glass is present. See last 3 pictures. None of these damages are disturbing or very noticeable with the chandelier in place. The chandelier is wired with five American candelabra base sockets.
