This charming petite Vintage Mediterranean clover-shaped accent side table is made of solid wood and features a glossy ebonized black lacquer finish and hand-painted floral motif with gold gilt accents and a distressed crackled top with mother of pearl and abalone inlay. The table profile is embellished with four banded side rails with inlaid abalone and is raised on a turned baluster with a round stepped base terminating to four carved accented paw feet. Good quality and form. Circa mid 20th century.

The table shows signs of naturally occurring age with some losses that are not extremely noticeable including fading, possible shrink cracking of the lacquer, chipping on the table top, side rails and feet and minor surface scratches. There is some looseness to the top but it is jointed with a square mortise and tenon and functions in its present condition and is suitable for use. Overall a lovely vintage piece. Every attempt was made to accurately capture the details and current integrity of the piece in the photographs. Please look closely at the pictures. less
