This an antique 5 piece Nippon Morimura hand painted peanut motif snack set from around the 1910s.
The large main … more This an antique 5 piece Nippon Morimura hand painted peanut motif snack set from around the 1910s.
The large main bowl is 6 inches in diameter and about 1.5 inches tall. The handles are done in exquisite moriage accents and there is little to fading of the paint.
The smaller bowls are about 1 inch diameter and one of the bowls has a chip and has been reglued.
The back stamp dates this set to around the 1910 to 1921 period.
This is a great example of early Nippon Morimura and in very good antique condition. less
