The seat support straps have been replaced with new materials and are weight-bearing and ready for a lifetime more of use. The cushions have been replaced with new medium-density foam for maximum comfort and recovered in a fabulously retro lime green knit fabric. This Kandidaten three-seater sofa was designed by Ib Kofod-Larsen and manufactured in Sweden by Olof Perssons Fatoljindustri (O.P.E.) in 1962. Constructed from solid teak this iconic design features cylindrical tapered legs with long bowed armrests that flash exceptional old-growth woodgrains. Whilst the wooden frame is in 100% original, vintage condition the cushions have been replaced with high-quality medium density foam for maximum comfort and recovered in a fabulous retro lime green knit fabric perfectly offsetting the rich woodgrains.
