This extremely talented woodworker added the three arbalete shelf fronts (each with a capacity to hold eight bottles), which is adorned with thin molding and a central carved volute. The sinuosity is continued on the two small, shaped front feet (the back feet are blocked), as well as the arbalete side aprons beneath recessed rectangular panels.

Above the top shelf is a pair of small drawers (8 ¼” W x 8 ½” D) with quarter round molding and wooden pulls. These could be used to store wine room accessories such as bottle openers, corkscrews, and reusable stoppers. Our Bordeaux wine carrier with drawers has been waxed and buffed, giving it a rich and warm patina.
