Originally designed with downfacing Welsbach mantle burners, now electrified with late 19th Century … more 19th Century gasolier, with three downfacing lights. Originally designed with downfacing Welsbach mantle burners, now electrified with late 19th Century 2 ¼ clamp shade holders. Original gas cocks have been immobilized for safe electrification. Fixture has copper colored red brass stem, arms and brass sockets and shade holders. Sockets are refurbished antique sockets. Metals have all been polished and lacquered. Fixture has been rewired with refurbished antique sockets, and is complete and ready for installation. Height is fixed, but the top tube can be cut to shorten. Glass in good condition, from the same era as the fixture. US, C. 1890. less
