Rather than the more expected pinky roses typical of English chintz, this lovely Grenville chintz from the venerable Lee Jofa illustrates peonies, roses and hollyhocks in soft blue and cream shades with leaves of light green and taupe on a light creamy white 100% glazed cotton. On the reverse is a complementary garden trellis embroidered in taupe on a cream background. An exquisite Samuel & Sons loopy fan trim in silky threads of the same blue, cream and taupe of the flowers is a perfect match. A real beauty!
