Culver Glass or Culver Industries began in 1939 with the Rothenberg family. This pattern is their Moroccan-inspired "Valencia" pattern, which became very popular in the 1950s with the 22-karat gold playing a big role moving forward. This particular pattern features a moorish, trellis-style gold pattern with raised, textured, scrollwork detail, along with semi-transluscent green diamonds printed among the gold. This particular set dates back to the late 1960s based on block style of the Culver logo marking on the glasses (see pictures of the authentic marking on all 4 glasses). These babies are better than vintage they are MCM!!
