The Front has The Boston Massachusetts Makers Advertising - Reads HOME MADE PRESERVES MANUFACTURED BY H. A. JOHNSON & CO. BOSTON MASS. It has a Lathe Turned Black Painted Wood Handle Mounted on a Heavy Gauge Wire Swing Carry "Bail". It is in Very Good Condition - Displays Nicely. No Cracks. Light Age and Use Wear. Back in the Day Stoneware Utilitarian Items Such as These Were on Loan to Customers from their Local Farms - Markets - Grocery Stores, Etc. They were Meant to be Reused as they could be refilled.
The Jar itself Measures 6 Inches Tall - 9 inches Tall Including Carry Handle.
It is x 5 3/4 Inches Long - Wide.
