This is an artisan-crafted staved and lathed Teak wood pedestal bowl that can embellish a stairwell rail or be used as a decorative urn to secretly stash a hidden key or pocket money, or can grace a bookshelf, a console, or credenza.
It has in indiscernible maker's mark (some of the letters have rubbed off), yet appears to have been crafted in the United States circa. the early to mid 1980s.
It measures 5" wide, has a flat round base that is 5" diameter, is 9.25" in height (and without its lid, the bowl measures 6.625" tall).
