This candlestick is made by the talented artist Alex Stisser, who is known for his unique and intricate glass designs.

Crafted from six segments of fused glass "blocks", this candlestick features shades of purple, lavender, teal, and clear, all sitting atop a black base. Standing at 10.5" tall, this piece is in mint condition and comes with the original tag from the Museum of Glass shop. The base of the candlestick is signed by the artist, A. Stisser, and dated 2003, with the edition number #8/12.

Alex Stisser is a highly accomplished artist who earned his BFA in Glass from Illinois State University. He has worked for many glass artists' studios throughout New England and the Pacific Northwest and has spent several summers taking workshops at Pilchuck Glass School and Haystack Mountain School of Crafts. Currently, Alex is a lead glassblower and designer at the Museum of Glass International Center for Contemporary Art in Tacoma, Washington.
