This particular one is so rare we have only seen one or two in the past 3o yrs, and uncommon given at the time and era pieces like this were distinctive and not usually affordable for the masses, but eclectic and stylish. The original vinyl is a ink blue to french blue coloration, and we apologize the lighting was not the best in height of summer given outdoor natural light staging in tropical Florida summer weather. This was an era and height within the Furniture Design Industry across the globe in many countries whereupon, we saw an explosion and proliferation of many adaptations, of material uses, product utilized in furniture design from Teak to Goatskin wrapped pieces, leather, carved indigenous wood, wood of all varieties and quality of craftsmanship, to polished brass elements, as well as never-ending chrome frames given to chairs, tables, lamps, chandeliers, and rockers such as this piece is. The seat section is attached as images indicate to the top back with zipper attachments and underneath whereupon legs rest with the same mechanisms. also there is a magnetic head east with is detachable and attaches back so easily but ingenuity at it's best, yet simplified and refined, but has weights sewn into the head rest straps, which givee it extra added and nuanced functionality. Also there is added baseball stitching detail throughout There are simple round chrome plated bumpers to front frame, which keeps one from flipping over, and stoppage occurs to maintain the rocker when sitting in it as well as when one wishes to lift up and off, easy peasy pie. This piece came from an Interior Designer's Estate, and an inherited piece by my client. Absolutely no pitting to chrome. Well preserved. less
