Vintage C.1980's Custom; "To the Trade," Manufacture English Regency quasi Chippendale Style, are these Armless Dining Chairs Set of 6. Brown Mahogany finish to frames, with cabriolet legs ending in bun feet, which lends itself to the Chippendale family, but the ornamental carved details to the front legs also cements it to the English Traditional Regency style, as one period overlaps another and elements taken from both and the fruition abounded. The upholstery to the front is a highly expensive;, silk viscose, jacquard in a crocodile tone on tone design of a light gold /saffron yellow coloration. There are brass nailhead trim details to edge along the base seat surround, as well as back rest surround. The detailing to trim also has a small black braided trim, while the backside of each dining chair has a gold and black stripe which coordinates in coloration to the front of the textile chosen, both "A To the Trade Textile." Manhattan transplants to South Florida, and currently have been down-sizing their vast living diorama of gorgeous period and Design pieces. These dining chairs were coordinated and surrounded a Baker "Capstan," Dining Table which sold recently. In great to excellent condition. These were part of a varied amount of rooms and multiple dining aareas and were "only," used for special occasions, thus the extremely well-kept condition.
