Original signed colorful 3D Pop Art collage painting. Dated 2001 and features the New York cityscape. Named: "The Way We Were - 1973-2001" and signed bottom right corner (signature not readable) + "Paris".
There is a hand-written drawing and inscription on the back of the cardboard.
The design is reminiscent of Charles Fazzino's famous Pop Art Collage.
We were told by the previous owner that the artist (the artist is American) made this painting in September 2001, just after 9/11 in Paris, as a respectful tribute to NYC and its inhabitants.
Modern black wood frame with fancy multicolor dimensional waved matte and acrylic glass protection.
