Beautiful vintage c.1950's brilliant deep red & gold lidded Imari jar from Japan! Great color and vibrancy, could be used for all sorts of things on a dresser, desk or bookcase. It measures 4 1/4" tall and 3" in diameter.
It is in good overall condition, with age appropriate wear. Does have a couple very small chips to the inside rim, which is only visible when the lid is off the jar and not particularly noticeable. Please see the closeup of the rim for example. less
