A nice French art deco pendant by Hettier & Vincent in nickel plated bronze or solid brass holding a beautiful shade in salmon colored frosted molded-pressed glass made by Muller frères. Hettier & Vincent was a large well known French lighting company producing high quality items. Wholesaler and retailer with its prestigious shop at the beautiful Place de Vosges in Paris. Louis Hettier and Calixte Vincent started their company in 1924 when they took over the lighting firm Millet et cie. The pendant on offer can be dated around 1928-1933.

The pendant light is 47,4 cm high (18,66") and the bowl has a diameter of 34,7 cm (13,66 inches). A similar canopy is represented in the old Hettier & Vincent product catalog. As well as a pendant with this canopy and another model Muller bowl. The catalogs are no part of this sale. The shade is signed Muller freres Luneville. The signature on this Muller model is always vague and hard to detect. The chandelier is in very good condition. I have re-nickeled and patinated the mount and it comes rewired with an American standard socket.
