A nice French 1930 art deco pendant light in nickel plated solid brass holding a bowl in … more NOVERDY & MAYNADIER
A nice French 1930 art deco pendant light in nickel plated solid brass holding a bowl in clear frosted molded-pressed glass by Noverdy the well-known glass factory in Dijon France. Note the beautiful canopy that makes a beautiful match with the decoration of the bowl. The fixture was created by Pierre Maynadier a producer of art deco lighting in Paris. The chandelier has a height of 45 cm (17,7 inches) and a diameter of 35 cm (13-3/4"). The shade is signed Noverdy France Deposé on the rim. It is in very good condition. I have replated and patinated the mount. The fixture is rewired with an American standard socket.
I have two of these pendant lights available. But the two shade are slightly different in tone and frosting. I would not recommend them as a pair placed close to one another.
