A signed French art deco chandelier around 1930 in nickel plated bronze or solid brass holding a large and exceptional bowl by Degué in clear frosted pressed glass. This chandelier was made by Francis Hubens. A producer of art deco lighting in Paris (at 68 rue des Archives) he mainly used Degué made shades for his lights, some of them were exclusively made by Degue for Hubens. The bowl of this pendant is represented in my old Degué catalog, model number 714. It's a very rare model.
The chandelier is in excellent condition. I have re-nickeled and patinated the mount. The heavy shade has a diameter of about 40,8 cm (16,06"). The chandelier has a height of 59,5 cm (23.43"). I can shorten it on request. The fixture is rewired and holds an American standard socket.
