A beautiful and rare 1928 - 1932 French art deco pendant light. A nickel plated mount holds a deep exceptional bowl in clear frosted molded-pressed glass. The shade was produced for la maison Francis Hubens by Degué. It has a Degue signature on the rim and it is signed Hubens on the outside of the shade. Francis Hubens was a munufacturer of art deco lighting in Paris during the interbellum. The diameter of the bowl is 24,9 cm (9,8") and the total height of the lamp is 54 cm (21,26"). The chandelier is in very good condition. I have re-nickeled and patinated the solid brass or bronze mount. The fixture is rewired with an American standard socket.
