A beautiful and rare 1928 - 1932 French art deco pendant light. A nickel-plated mount in solid brass holds a deep bowl in clear frosted molded-pressed glass. The shade was produced for la maison Francis Hubens by Degué. It has a Degue model number on the rim and it is signed Hubens on the outside of the shade. Francis Hubens was a Parisian producer of French art deco lighting during the interbellum.
The diameter of the bowl is 24.9cm (9,8") and the total height of the lamp is 49 cm (19,3"). The chandelier is in very good condition. I have re-nickeled and patinated the mounting. The fixture is rewired with an American standard socket.
