A signed French art deco pendant made around 1930 in nickel plated bronze or solid brass holding a bowl by Degué in a thick quality clear frosted molded-pressed glass. This Degué model (#729) has a diameter of 35 cm. It is signed and represented in the old Degue product catalog (which is no part of this sale). The canopy makes a great match with the decoration of the shade. The chandelier is in very good condition. Two small flakes can be seen on top of the rim (see picture). Invisible on the outside. I have re-nickeled and patinated the authentic mounting. The pendant has a total height of 44,5 cm (17-1/2") and a diameter of 35 cm (13-3/4"). It is rewired and holds one American standard socket.
